The Charter Oak is a restaurant in the heart of the Napa Valley owned by Chef Christopher Kostow of the Three Star Michelin-rated The Restaurant at Meadowood. The Charter Oak is centered on a celebratory, family-style dining experience, with simple, approachable, and seasonal food – grilled meats, beautiful vegetables from their farm, local wines, and unparalleled cocktails. The menu reflects the products of the Napa Valley through an elemental cooking style, with a hearth at its center, and by highlighting one or two ingredients at a time.

Dinner for 2 at Solbar
Calistoga’s most heralded restaurant
This locals’ favorite is where you’ll find area vintners gathered after hours over craft cocktails, friends unwinding over leisurely dinners, and couples letting time slip away under the glow of a 20-foot fire pit. Solbar divides its menu into light, delicate flavors to stimulate your palate, and bold, savory dishes to comfort your soul, all with ingredients that showcase the best of what’s fresh and seasonal in the Napa Valley. Mad Fritz Origin Beer Brewery Tasting for 2
Mad Fritz crafts beer using a winemaker’s lens where the authenticity of origin is essential to what defines our beer styles and their flavor. We call this approach Origin Beer. We are one of the few breweries in the world that have a malt house, a hop kiln, and hauls in unique water sources to add each beer’s origin. All of our beers are barrel-aged, unfiltered and naturally carbonated.
Your experience at Mad Fritz is a deep dive into how multiple or specific ingredients impact flavor. Your visit will take place in the middle of our brewery surrounded by our beers aging in barrel. We will taste 6 to 8 individual beers that highlight water sourcing, single variety malting barleys, unique hops and barrel influences. This is a beer in a wine glass experience unlike any other.

We survived the Tubbs Fire, and counted our blessings.
Calistoga came through the fire, literally, thanks to heroic firefighters and first responders, and were overwhelmed by the outpouring of kindness from friends all over the world. Our little town was extremely lucky; many neighbors were not as fortunate, and their losses still resonate. The silver lining to this awful event is the love that never ends, the unshakable sense of community we feel for our Napa Valley and Sonoma County neighbors, partners, colleagues and friends. And best of all, YOU, our guests, who put a spring in our step and a smile in our hearts. – Eden and everyone at BCI

JUNE 22ND – JUNE 26TH 2017
Join us for a memorable wine getaway featuring access to an elite, private vineyard, rarely open to outsiders. This coveted stretch of land and its glorious vines have been transformed into one of the most prolific vineyards in Napa and Sonoma, yet remains distinctly low-profile. Renowned for its terroir, this Knights Valley winery uses one acre for its own label while the remaining 15 are cultivated by select winemakers such as Luc Morlet.
A fourth generation winemaker whose sensibilities reflect a long cultivated family philosophy of “passion, terroir and savior-faire,” Morlet is one of viticulture’s most exceptional talents. During your tour, you will have the chance to learn more about this exceptional talent—and, to sip on his award-winning, small batch cabernet sauvignon. You’ll also indulge in award-winning wines paired with delicious homemade food pulled from the vintner’s personal kitchen. Served in a spectacular setting with unforgettable views and impeccable wines, this memory will linger in your mind—and on your lips—for a lifetime.
SEPTEMBER 28TH – OCTOBER 2ND
Our second wine experience takes you to a very special, organically farmed vineyard renowned for its luscious, award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon handcrafted with the ultimate expertise and care by legendary winemaker, Thomas Rivers Brown. Since its inaugural vintage, this Dry Creek Valley winery has consistently received high accolades from The Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator and Vinous Media. Elevated 500 feet above the Russian River and overflowing with flora, fauna and amazing wine, this is one of the region’s prettiest and ambitious vineyards, typically not showcased the way our guests will have the opportunity to experience.
The highlight of your journey delivers you to a 75-acre vineyard heavily wooded with Spanish Oaks, Giant Coastal Redwoods and Sequoias. Each of your five senses will come to life as you breath in the land’s rich aromas, and natural and manmade beauty. Take in all its outdoor and indoor beauty, and learn every detail of the elaborate vinification process. Together, we’ll enjoy a leisurely tour of its meticulous and lush property, discovering and discussing every detail of the elaborate vinification process and the region’s unique climate.
Afterward, our hosts will lead us to where we’ll share an organic, family-style meal complete with the winery’s legendary heirloom tomatoes, and, of course, bottles—a few named after one of the owner’s famed Jersey Boys Broadway play. During your visit, you’ll indulge in a once-in-a-lifetime experience, not typically open to the public, joining the harvesting team in one of the most crucial steps in the winemaking process.
NOVEMBER 2nd – NOVEMBER 6th
